Update! 'WhiteCards'

I haven't sketched in a long long while now, but after a discussion with Joe last night we decided to co-produce a new story!
I won't fill you in on all the details yet, but I can assure you that it will be one epic tale.

Sci-fi vs fantasy. Realms clashing in an unforgettable series of events.

So here are a few shots I just took of my sketch so far. It still needs to have darkenning done, and shading, and all that jazz. Not to mention Ames is one of many characters that must be thought through, discussed, portrayed, and sketched.
But before sketching everything, our focus is on creating the world in which the story takes place. Coming up with the whole society around which WhiteCards is based, and the factions, military orders, social-econimic relations and distinctions. It's a lot of fun!
Joe is the Primary Author, incharge of writing the bulk of the story and he's also the creator of the base-realm. It is his idea that we're working with, and I want him to get the credit first and foremost! :D
I'm acting as assistant author, helping with editting and making sure that the story stays in-line with the lore that we are creating. I'm also going to be the designer for the time being, doing sketches and storyboarding ideas with Joe.

We'll be sure to keep you up to date on the writing and latest sketches and ideas. Perhaps we'll even start a WhiteCards blog! And have story segments posted on there to give you all some sneak peaks and stuff.

Here are some photos too! This is the main character of the story, Ames, of the Order of the Spades (hence the cloak-pin).
That's Joe's hand, as i wanted some 'sketching' photos, but my tripod was uncooperative and I had to hand-hold.

Anyways! Take it easy everyone, and I'll be talking to you soon.
